FSUU is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Rhoemie O. Hallazgo as the Associate Dean of the Teacher Education Program (TEP).

Ms. Hallazgo earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Master Management Major in Instructional Systems Management from Liceo de Cagayan University. She then pursued further studies at the University of the Philippines Los BaΓ±os, where she completed her Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. She has been a member of the faculty of TEP since June 2009 and presently serves as a Supervising Instructor.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Hallazgo is a dedicated researcher, writer, and trainer. Her research has produced several significant studies, including “Analyzing Assessment Results in SPSS Student Version on the Effectiveness of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model (JCLM) in Integrating Peace Skills,” “PATT Scores as Determinants in LET Performance as Basis for Strengthening Student Teacher Preparations,” β€œA Transient Expression of the RFP Gene from Discosoma sp. Calli and Immature Embryos of Different Maize,” and β€œChildren of Incarcerated Parents: Stories of Survival and Resilience.”

Her commitment to excellence in education has been recognized, including being awarded 2nd place in CHED Caraga’s Best Teaching Model Implementor (Asynchronous) in the Teacher Category. Beyond her academic and research contributions, Ms. Hallazgo is actively involved in community initiatives, where she performs various roles to support the university’s efforts.

With her robust academic background and extensive experience in education, Ms. Hallazgo is poised to lead the program to continued educational excellence.
