"How far you go in life depends in your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with striving, and tolerant of the
weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these"
said George Washington Carner.
The Teacher Education Program believes that the new breed of teachers must
possess the great characteristics of a responsible parent, that of Patience,
Persistence and love . To form, train and educate the youth is a very noble
task and therefore must be seen in the light preparing citizens who will one
day be responsible in shaping the future of this country and of the world.
FSUU hopes to produce young and dynamic teachers who will be tasked to form
young men and women who will not only be responsible of themselves but also of
others .The URIAN Teacher is tender ,compassionate ,sympathetic and tolerant
to both the weak and the strong.

| Overview |
|
Teacher Education Program is 56 years in its service. It opened its wings in
1952 and received the recognition by CHED in 1956. It was one the first three
courses accredited by PAASCU: Level I in 1983 and Level II in 1995. The journey
on the fight of level III is on its nose, hopefully by August 2007.
Teacher Education Program serves the best teachers in whole CARAGA Region both
in Department of Education (Dep.Ed.) and the Commission of Higher Education
(CHED) .
It strives to carry out the vision – mission of the school and its program
goals. It has metamorphosed the law of the lid and the law of influence in
leadership. The program believes that leadership ability determines a person's
level of effectiveness and with the true measure of influence from its early
and humble beginnings and continue striving for excellence. |
