Information is at your fingertips if you know how to look for them. For the academic researcher, especially the students, research involves sifting through volumes of books and journals that could be a frustrating experience if one does not know how. It is in answer to this problem that the TERM PAPER CLINIC was introduced by the Library System in 1995. The service aims to assists students who are doing term paper or project studies in identifying relevant sources of information and guiding them in the use of library research tools. This service is offered every semester during term paper time usually before the midterm.
Through this clinic, students receive one-on-one assistance from a librarian who helps them develop an individualized research strategy specifically for their topic. Librarians help students identify keywords, develop catalog search strategies, locate relevant reference materials, and effectively use indexes.
