The law profession is one of the three ancient ministries beside that of medicine and and the clergy. These ministries are ancient because they fulfill the primordial needs of humankind, law in particular fulfilling humankind's need for justice.

As students of the law, I welcome you to the College of Law. This is a new beginning for you. It is a chance for you to be part of a noble profession called to be the guardian of the weak and the defender of the oppressed and a profession always cognizant of and acting for the victory of the rule of law.

Overview

The College of Law prepares law students for legal advocacy, counseling, problem-solving and decision-making. It impresses upon the students the importance, nobility and dignity of the legal profession as an equal and indespensable partner of the Bench in the administration of justice. It likewise endeavours to develop socially-committed Urian Lawyers with integrity and competence.

Objectives

Accept students of any nationality, religion, gender, ethnic origin who intend to study at Father Saturnino Urios University provided all tne necessary requirements are met;
Attain optimal enrollment based on the dopted admission policies and retention programs of the university;
Attain scholarship screening and selection procedure based on a comprehensive and reasonable implementing rules and guidelines which is free from prejudice.
