faq - OPIS

  • What will happen to my grades if I stop attending my classes but will not withdraw officially?

    • All subjects will be marked “Dropped” or “DR”; but some teachers may mark your grades as “Failed” if you just stopped sometime after midterm period.
  • What should I do if I withdraw my enrollment while classes haven’t started yet?

    • Go to your program dean for interview and fill-up withdrawal form. Once approved to withdraw, study load will be confiscated and enrolled subjects swill be deleted.
    • Proceed to any tellers at Data Administration Office, submit withdrawal form and ask for schedule of refund.
    • See the university cashier for refund, as scheduled.
  • What should I do if I withdraw my enrollment and classes already started?

    • Go to your program dean for interview and fill-up withdrawal form. Once approved to withdraw, study load will be confiscated and enrolled subjects s is marked “Withdrawn or W” (this will appear in the Transcript of Records).
    • Proceed to any tellers at Data Administration Office, submit withdrawal form and ask for schedule of refund.
    • See the university cashier for refund, as scheduled.
  • What if I just stop attending to my classes, what will happen to my account?

    • You will be required to pay 100% of your assessment for the school term. All school credentials will be withheld while accounts are unsettled.
  • How much will be required for me to pay if I withdraw my enrollment before midterm period?

    • You will be required to pay 45% of your total assessment for the current term.
  • How much will be charged from me if I withdraw my enrollment if classes haven’t started?

    • A service fee of ₱200.00 will be deducted from the total entrance/down payment paid.
  • How do I secure my account?

    • Change your password after your initial or first log-in to OPIS V3.
    • Go to change password module to do the changes. Don’t forget your new password and don’t give it away.
  • How do I avail of alumni discount?

    • Get an alumni certification from the Alumni office; have it signed by your present dean and the university registrar. Submit to any tellers at the Data Administration Office.
  • How do I avail family discount?

    • Apply to the university cashier; bring the study loads of the siblings.
  • How do I avail cash discount?

    • Just pay the total assessment and discount is automatically applied.
  • Can I still withdraw after midterm period?

    • Yes, but you will be required to pay the 100% total assessment.
  • Are there any types of tuition discounts I may avail?

    • Full payment discount may be availed if total current student assessment is paid in full during the first week of classes, a 3% discounts shall be deducted from the total tuition fee of the student.
    • Alumni discount can be availed for those who graduated from any college courses of the university and would like to pursue graduate studies. A 10% discounts shall be deducted from the total tuition fee of the student.
    • Family discount may be availed by the third member of the sibling, if they are all enrolled to the university, regardless of department and/or courses. A 25% discounts shall be deducted from the total tuition fee of the student.
    • Miscellaneous, matriculation and laboratory fees are excluded in the discount.
  • What if I forgot my password?

    • Visit itsd.urios.edu.ph then select the link Current Students.
    • Click the hyperlink “Click here” beside the “Forgot your password”

    • Fill-up form as directed. What for an email message from the system
  • How do I login to OPIS V3?

    1. Enter your student number as username
    2. Enter your birthdate
    3. Enter your family name as password in all CAPITAL letters.

    To determine if you are already enrolled, please click the hyperlink Registration.
    If you are notified to "pay for downpayment at the cashier", and you already paid, please check again later. It means your registration is still on progress.


    If you still can't login, your birthdate may not have been entered when you profiled upon enrollment as first year college. Starting May 27, 2013 from 8:00 to 12:00 am and 1:30 to 5:00 pm, please call 1918 to facilitate editing of your profile. Or visit the EIRC formerly Internet center to have your profile edited by authorized staff.
