October 7, 2015, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary,
the new College Building East was inaugurated and blessed. The ceremony was presided by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bishop Juan de Dios Pueblos, D.D. The new building features a fully air-conditioned Function Hall that can accommodate 250 guests with a state-of-the-art sound system to boot, located on the ground floor of Building B. On the second floor of the same wing, the Office of the President and the Finance Office are housed as well as the Board Room.

A mini hotel sits on the third floor for the Hotel and Restaurant Management Course, which will also welcome university guests. The new building has eighteen classrooms which are located in the third and fourth floors of Building A. While some commercial spaces on the second level are still available, the ground floor of Building A is already filled with business establishments. The new CBE boasts of an arch in the middle of the quadrangle which resembles the façade of the former building.

To preserve the memories, a gallery is mounted featuring photos of the years long past as well as benches using the wooden beams of the old CBE. The project was realized under the leadership of the University President, Rev. Fr. John Christian U. Young and the Project-in-Charge, Rev. Fr. Chito G. Butardo, together with the Project Engineers of Berlamino Y. Viray and Partners. The design was created by Arch. Antonio Nixon K. Pariñas.  #‎uriosontherise #‎uriosontheriseversiontwopointzero #‎urios #‎CBE
