The Board of Trustees of Father Saturnino Urios University is composed of fifteen members carefully selected based on the provisions of the constitution and by-laws of the university. By virtue of election, each member assumes a seat and a vote in the board for a term of three years. The University President, however, who although entitled to the same rights of the elected members, is an ex-officio member.
The officers of the Board of Trustees are the chair, the secretary and the treasurer, who each assumes office for one year by election.
By entrusting its governance on the Board of Trustees under the leadership of the bishop of the diocese, the university preserves its instrumentality to the diocese that it serves.
