Ang FSUU-CES, usa ka iwag nga nagpakuyanap sa iyang kristohanong dan-ag ngadto sa mga katilingban nga kabus, hinikawan ug dinaug-daug pinaagi sa iyang programa sa edukasyon, pagbansay sa katakos, kahanas ug espirituhanong pag-umol alang sa ilang panginabuhian. Inubanan sa pakiglambigit sa nagkalain-laing ahensiya mamugna ang usa ka katilingban nga maampuon, gawasnon, maalagaron, malahutayon, mahigugmaon sa kinaiyahan nga malambuon.

• To facilitate appropriate, relevant and responsive programs and projects to meet the identified needs and issues of the community partners for sustainable development.
  
  
• To develop the sense of other-orientedness among students, faculty and administrators, and being the conscientisizing agents, they be able to manifest their love of country and God.
  
  
• The community partners of Father Saturnino Urios University namely Barangay Bobon, Nagkahiusang Katawhan sa Susumpit (NKS) Upper Doongan and Gawad Kalinga, Pagatpatan, Butuan City are receptive to the services facilitated by the institution and most of the projects and activities are for the continuing community building and sustainability.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND SUSTAINABILITY

FSUU-CES adheres to care the Integrity of Creation and facilitates activities to enable the community partners and Urians to protect and sustain the environment

LITERACY AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

The Lumad Graded Literacy Program aims to educate the IP in Agusan del Sur and provide remedial instructions of the identified slow learners in the Community partners to improve their learning abilities and train the OSY for basic computer literacy. The College of Law provides free and / or para legal counseling services also to identified communities.

HEALTH CARE

In response to the health concerns of the community, FSUU-CES facilitates projects in partnership with the local health workers and women’s organization like, Mothers’ Class and Feeding Basic First Aid and Disaster Preparedness Training, Herbal Gardening and Herbal Medicine Making, Blood Letting and Medical-Dental Mission

VALUES FORMATION

Holistic and integral approach for community development guides the CES in the conduct of Backyard Catechism, Christian Parenting and Recollection for the Youth and Parents, for the spiritual enhancement and values reorientation for the “wholeness of the society”.

LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT

The program to attain self and family’s sufficiency in food and other basic needs commenced in training men and women to equip and enhance their skills for entrepreneurship activities. Strengthening organized livelihood endeavors through lecture-forum and sharing of best practices by other successful entrepreneurs are also facilitated for the improvement of their business activities.

SHELTER AND FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT

To claim the dignity and honor of individual members of the identified community, FSUU-CES commits to improve the basic facilities in the community for economic and social development. House Build, Purok Center Improvement, and Repair on Wooden Bridge and constructing community info/billboard and location marker are some of the activities conducted.
